Here’s the Truth
Individuals who do not eat meat may certainly donate blood, but must just pay closer attention to their iron levels after donation, as it is harder for them to replenish the iron lost during whole blood or red cell donation. An iron supplement may be considered after consulting with their doctor so that they can continue donating regularly.
