Transfusion or Transplant

Not eligible to donate for a history of:
- Dura mater transplant or graft
- Transplant or medical prodecure using live cells, tissue or organs from an animal (porcine heart valve replacement is acceptable)
Eligible to donate after 3-month deferral for:
- Blood transfusion (including components like plasma or platelets)
- Transplant or graft from another person (organ, bone marrow, cornea or other tissue)
Eligible for donation if you have had a synthetic lens implant and/or cataract surgery.
