Here’s the Truth
It does not matter if a donor has had low hemoglobin levels or has been deferred for low hemoglobin before. Your hemoglobin level will be checked before you donate, and your eligibility will be determined at the time of donation. If you are deferred for low hemoglobin, your deferral is only 24 hours.
