About this location
Make a difference by donating at our Preston Valley Donor Center.
The Preston Valley Donor Center has beds to accommodate six donors at a time. Though the goal for needed number of donors changes each month, Preston Valley attempts to collect around 400 units of whole blood, 200 units of platelets and 50 units of plasma per month.
When you donate, you’ll have the chance to meet eight dedicated employees who will make sure your donation experience is a great one. Schedule an appointment to be a lifesaver in North Dallas today.

How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time if you have not yet used QuickScreen to complete the health history questionnaire online.
Does donating blood hurt?
You may experience an initial moment of slight discomfort from the needle stick, but the process of drawing blood is generally a pain-free experience.
How often can I donate blood?
You can donate whole blood every 56 days, double red cells every 112 days, plasma every 28 days and platelets every 7 days.
What should I do after donating blood?
After donating blood, we recommend that you stay hydrated, keep your bandage on for four hours, avoid hazardous or strenuous activities for 24 hours, and eat iron-rich foods. Also, feel good about helping save lives!
