It’s Time to Give in North Texas
Ready to do some good throughout your community?
Communities Foundation of Texas’ 2021 NTX Giving Day on Thursday, Sept. 23, is an online-giving event supporting local nonprofits and causes. The annual event helps build awareness and support for charities across 20 North Texas counties.
Carter BloodCare encourages you to support the nonprofit of your choice during NTX Giving Day. Together, we can unite in making a positive and profound difference in the lives of people in need.
You Can Help in More Ways than One
There are also various ways you can support Carter BloodCare’s mission to save lives by making transfusion possible:
Donating blood with Carter BloodCare is the simplest way to help give life to the community. Blood donations made at our neighborhood donor centers and mobile drives directly affect the lives of local patients. When you give blood, you’re saving lives. Find a donor center or mobile drive near you.
Bring a buddy
Invite friends, family members, coworkers and neighbors to donate with you. The added support for you means more units of lifesaving blood for local patients in need.
Host a blood drive
Hosting a blood drive in your neighborhood, workplace, house of worship or school gets your community involved in making a positive difference. It’s easy to get started: Email us at BookABloodDrive@CarterBloodCare.org or call us at 817-412-5384; please include your ZIP code and preferred contact information. Our team will help you pick a convenient date and location to make your drive a success.
Spread the word
Raise awareness by posting on your social media pages. Sharing that you donate blood can inspire others in your network to give. You can use resources from our online Give For Texans Toolkit, which includes social media graphics and posts, videos, email templates, and more.
