The right type at the right time saves lives in your community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carterbloodcare.org\/education-center\/understanding-your-donor-blood-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tracking your wellness information:<\/a> <\/strong>The health of our donors is important to us. Three days after your donation, <a href=\"https:\/\/ww2.greatpartners.org\/donor\/auth\/signin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">log-in to your donor profile<\/a> to check your mini-physical results including your non-fasting total cholesterol, blood pressure, pulse and hemoglobin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-medium is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carterbloodcare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/CBC-03144-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5404\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption>Your post donation card will have some of your wellness information &#8211; one of the benefits of being a blood donor. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carterbloodcare.org\/donate-blood\/dedicated-donor-rewards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Earning points for Dedicated Donor Rewards:<\/strong><\/a> Dedicated Donor Rewards is our way to show appreciation for your impact in the community. Each time you donate blood with Carter BloodCare, you earn points to redeem in our online store for T-shirts, e-gift cards and more. The more often you donate, the more points you\u2019ll earn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carterbloodcare.org\/donate-blood\/promotions\/2022-give-six-platelet-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Scoring donor appreciation gifts:<\/strong><\/a> As a thank-you, donors receive new gifts every two months, including T-shirts, hoodies, socks, blankets, water bottles, beach towels and windshield shades. Plus, platelet donors can earn another T-shirt every two months with the &#8220;Give Six Challenge&#8221; in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Being our guest at banquets<\/strong>: Carter BloodCare holds annual regional banquets to recognize loyal blood donors, blood drive coordinators and community partners. As a dedicated blood donor, DFW donors can earn a seat at the table by either donating six whole blood donations, three double red cell donations, at least six platelet donations or any combination of six donations within the calendar year. Due to limited donation opportunities and proximity to locations, Central and East Texas donors qualify for an invite by donating either at least four whole blood donations, two double red cell donations, four platelet donations or any combination of four donations within the calendar year.
