sangre de una persona?<\/h2>\n<p>Nuestros diferentes tipos de sangre est\u00e1n determinados por la presencia o ausencia de ciertos ant\u00edgenos (sustancias \u00fanicas) en la superficie de nuestros gl\u00f3bulos rojos. Estos ant\u00edgenos son una parte importante de la donaci\u00f3n y transfusi\u00f3n de sangre porque los pacientes no pueden recibir transfusiones de gl\u00f3bulos rojos de donantes que tengan ant\u00edgenos diferentes a sus propios gl\u00f3bulos rojos. Nuestro cuerpo produce anticuerpos (parte de nuestra respuesta inmunitaria) contra ant\u00edgenos que son &#8220;extra\u00f1os&#8221; para nuestro cuerpo, lo que limita los tipos de sangre que los pacientes pueden recibir para transfusiones.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien hay muchos tipos diferentes de ant\u00edgenos en nuestros gl\u00f3bulos rojos y en todo nuestro cuerpo, hay 2 grupos principales de ant\u00edgenos sangu\u00edneos que determinan nuestro tipo de sangre: ABO y Rh.<\/p>\n<h3>Grupo Sanguineo ABO<\/h3>\n<p>Los ant\u00edgenos A y B, y su presencia en nuestros gl\u00f3bulos rojos determina si nuestro tipo de sangre es O (carece de los ant\u00edgenos A y B),  A (tiene solo el ant\u00edgeno A),  B (solo tiene el ant\u00edgeno B) o AB (tiene ant\u00edgenos A y B).<\/p>\n<h3>Grupo sanguineo Rh<\/h3>\n<p>La presencia o ausencia del ant\u00edgeno Rh determina si somos (+) o (-).<\/p>\n<p>Por tanto, los 8 tipos de sangre son los siguientes: O+, O-, A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+, AB-<\/p>\n
